1995 Upper Deck Minor League

1994 Upper Deck Minor League #19

My first real exposure to Upper Deck was with their 1991 set, so by the time this 1995 rolled around I was really impressed. This minor league set borrows the same full bleed photo design as major league set of the same year. Looking back at old Upper Deck cards makes me really miss their take on baseball cards.

Future Stock #19

Parallels were really starting to pop up everywhere in the mid-90's and this set was no different. Each card had a simple parallel called Future Stock. You can see the silver stamp there in the upper corner.

International Flavor, a subset within the set. Ordonez hails from Cuba...and is one of many Cuban players to have left their mark on the game.

The last card I needed for this release was the Future Stock parallel, which I've finally secured!

  1. Love the 1994 UD Minor League set; I bought a hand-collated set back in the day. Funny thing is, I've got a complete set of the minor league, but have fewer than 100 of the regular UD set. I think the silver foil looks better, myself.

    1. Can't go wrong with full bleed photos and a simple design.
